Introducing The Gathering

The greatness or otherwise of any nation depends largely on the future we create for our youths who undoubtedly are the leaders of tomorrow living it out today already. The youths are the cornerstone of social development of any community. They are the most active segment that should be properly mobilised, sensitised, energised and motivated by society to develop their full potential and attain developmental goals.

Unfortunately for us in Nigeria, these active members of the society are left without any deliberate effort to guide them to achieve their purpose and protect their interests. This has negatively impacted their mental and physical contribution to the development of the country. The Nigerian youths are caged between the crisis of leadership and the failure of mentorship.

Young people are struggling in record numbers to find work, leave home, and start a family. Some have even lost faith in a better future. This should not be allowed to continue unabated. It is against this background that the vision to lead a catalyst team that will bring about transformation of their and ignition of their passion to pursue a new path of self reliance and independence.

The GATHERING was designed to achieve set goals through multilateral programmes and events. It flagged off with IGNITE 2017 on September 29 and rounded off on October 1, 2017 to commemorate Akwa Ibom State 30th anniversary of her creation and 57th Independence anniversary of Nigeria. That epochal outing became a singular important converge for young aspiring persons from all walks of life.

Building partnership

We build robust partnership with global institutions, government agencies corporate bodies, religious groups and other public-spirited individuals to provide the youths with amble resources, skills, knowledge, empowerment and mentoring through conferences, seminars, camp meetings, home cells, exhibitions, etc.

Our faculty parades the very best in their specialties, with special attention to hands-on models our youths can relate with and who are readily available to provide the needed mentoring and grooming of the ignited.
