The Common Sense guru, Prof. Emmanuel Olumide at the Ibom Ignite conference 2022 literally used words to romance the hearts of participants to greatness and wealth acquisition. It was an electrifying session that remoulded the mindset of an average participant.
Speaking on the topic: The mind of an Entrepreneur, the Bible Scholar charged participants to have an investment mentality. Defining such mentality, he said it “is a mindset that is concerned with the acquisition of assets, not liabilities.
In alignment with the position of Prof. Anigbogu on salary, the host of the daily “Pathway to Wealth” broadcast averred that salary does not make people wealthy, but investment. He explained further that no one can pay any individual his/her true worth, adding that salary is only a seed capital and a tool to help one on the journey.
This explanation was aimed at shifting the minds of participants from focusing on salary when there are other opportunities littered everywhere for investment.
Five Toxic Mentalities
He rounded off the electrifying session by outlining five toxic mentalities that can limit a man. They include: Nomadic, the consumer, the victim/entitlement, servant and materialism mentality.
He called on participants to stop the poverty mentality and celebrate greatness wherever they see them, while urging participants to bridge the gap of association to attain the zenith of their goals in life, saying that whoever walks with the wise is wise.
